Setting of Medicine Walk

Medicine Walk takes place in the wilderness of British Columbia, around the 1960s, although there are some flashbacks that date back to WW2 and the Korean War. The novel uses a natural landscape of forests, lakes, and rivers as a perfect setting to symbolize healing and self discovery for Frank.
